Peter Coulson was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England on August 12, 1938, the son of the late Robert and Doris Coulson. He was raised in England, served in the Royal Air Force, and was employed in the insurance industry. For many years, Peter played bass guitar with British bands at American military bases in Europe and Morocco. He was also employed with Matsushita Electric in Augsburg, Germany and played music with local jazz groups there. Emigrating in 1979 to Massachusetts, he worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance and as a cook for Keystone Nursing Home. Peter loved singing and playing classic rock and country music. He played at area locales and nursing homes for over 30 years and was considered a very talented musician. Peter Coulson died Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the Community Hospice Home in Merrimack, N.H.
